Fishing + Benahavis

The fishing tradition has always been important in Costa del Sol. The purpose of this tour is to value and understand the journey that the fish makes from the sea to the plate.
Även den vackra byn Benahavis besöks.

We will visit an authentic fishing quarter.

The guide will take us to the fishing port where we will visit the artisan nettors (profession that is disappearing).
In the port we will see the fishing boats that went out to work at night or at dawn arriving with the fresh fish.
The same fishermen that we have seen arrive will give us pieces of fish just caught. With them we will realize a workshop of quality and freshness where we will learn to recognize a fresh fish. We will choose the fish that we will taste later.

After that we continue the tour to the mountain range to visit Benahavis, one of the most beatiful and charming villages on the coast. There we will walk through the beatiful narrow white streets and we will carry the fresh fish to our chef who will cook it live so we can enjoy a tasty tapa, the process will be explained at every moment.

Afterwards you will have time to eat and enjly the gastronomic paradise of Benahavis.
