El Vivero 29, 19-26/9 2002 We found Marbella to be an excellent choice for a holiday,
Lots of quality shops for the ladies, an unbelievable choice of Golf
Courses with reduced rates between Mid-June and Mid September at most
courses. There is a wonderful choice of restaurants and we would suggest
you visit DA BRUNO sul mare, in Marbella, the food and service is superb,
the wines are slightly more expensive, but what the hell you're on
holiday! The other restaurant worth a visit is ALBERT'S at Puerto Cabopina
approx 12km but worth the journey.
Puerto Banus and the Marina full of the most magnificent floating "gin
palaces" is definitely worth a visit if only to see how the other half
live!!
If you have a car take a trip to Rhonda approx 50km of magnificent scenery
and if you are lucky like we were, you may see an eagle soaring on the "thermals" no
more than 10metres from the car whilst driving through the mountains. The gorge
between the Old and New town of Rhonda is quite spectacular. A visit to the
hill town of Mijas is also recommended.

El Vivero 45, 2-16/8 2002
We
had a fantastic two weeks at El Vivero 45. The pool and gardens were unbelievable.
We were quite pleased that the urbanisation was out of the hustle and bustle
of Marbella itself but near enough to get to within 5-10 minutes. There
was a supermarket literally 5 minutes down the road and plenty of golf
courses to choose from.We feel that this was probably the most relaxing
holiday we have ever had as a family and did not want to leave.

MarbellaPlaya 42, 17-24/8 2002 We
have had a very nice stay in Marbella, everyone has been very pleasant
and we would definitely come back again.

Casa Blanca 5, 13-20/7 2002We
came to Marbella to get away from London life, and we found that this was
the place to totally relax and enjoy ourselves. On the flip side of that,
Marbella is also a lively place and you can go out until the early hours
of the morning which is great.
The food and wine is of a good standard and the locals are usually friendly.
If you haven't been give it a go.
