Cordoba

Cordoba was founded by the Roman Praetor " Claudius Marcelus"  in the year 152 BC. This city reached its artistic and cultural splendour during the arab occupation (711 until 1236 when it was reconquered by the Crhistian armies), and it is unique in the world for it´s Arab and Jewish reminiscences.

During the Xth century the city was declared capital of "Al Andalus", ( Andalusia ), reaching the status of Caliphate in the year 929, with king Abderraman III. The Cathedral and The Mosque have been declared recently " Patrimony of Mankind" by the UNESCO.

Our representative guide will meet the clients and departure towards Cordoba (through Antequera), arrival and visit of the city with a local guide, including " The Mosque". Walking through the Jewish Quarter, the Sinagoga and also The Roman Bridge,  we will  have a panoramic tour of the famous  "Patios"  and typical  gardens of Cordoba .

After the visit we will have a lunch (optional) in a hotel or local restaurant, later we will return to the Costa del sol.

Duration: approx. 10 hours.

Times:
Thursdays. Collection at hotel receptions.
Marbella: approx. 6:30

• Adults lunch: 69 Euros, deposit 14 Euros.
• Children (from 4 till 10 years old) visit: 39.75, deposit: 9.75 Euros
• Children (from 4 till 10 years old) lunch: 51.75, deposit: 10.50 Euros
• Children (under 3 years): Free (Withour services)
Deposit to be paid on arrival of holiday destination, balance paid on departure of the trip. (must be paid in cash).

Guides:
Speak English and Spanish.
Guides also speak French, German and Italian, these languages are not always available, if required please consult.
